Why MOSO® Bamboo Thermo Was Selected

For this project, the design required a decking material capable of performing reliably in Vancouver’s wet coastal climate while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

MOSO® Bamboo Thermo offers Class 1 durability (EN 350) and excellent dimensional stability, allowing it to withstand moisture, temperature changes, and long-term outdoor exposure. The thermally modified bamboo material provides the strength and durability of tropical hardwood while offering a more sustainable alternative.

Its natural tone and refined board profile also help create a seamless connection between the built environment and the surrounding garden landscape.
